Dev Log #1
Hi all,
I thought I'd introduce myself as merely "Dan" for now, if this game becomes really popular and famous, I'll give more info for the cheques to be cashed ;) - I wanted to in this first "dev log" go ahead and lay out some expectations, more so as a motivator for me than you, but also I want feedback as these dev logs go out and about to get a feel and sense of direction on where we could go with this.
The main focus:
My main focus' lay with the core mechanics at the moment:
Character movement/attack/health - also I think a name might be healthy to have any suggestions feel free to do so.
Map development, starting building, lighting - torch aspect?
Enemy movement/attack/health - also what the enemies are meant to *be*- again, leave any suggestions as you deem fit to.
I know these seem like the bear minimum for a runnable game to have but as I say I'd like to give some reasonable start goals and I'd like to imagine i would have some of these aspects done by the end of the week. (providing there's no bugs or a plane crashes on my home.)
After that I'd like to get a wave system set-up, with cooldown in between so that there's time for re-coop and upgrading etc etc - but let's not jump the gun.
